Isaac grew up under the busy airspace surrounding Ft. Novosel, the Army’s primary flight training facility. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an officer’s commission in the Army National Guard. He attended flight school at Ft. Novosel the following spring, and graduated in August of 2020 as a CH-47F pilot. He took his fixed wing private pilot check ride shortly after graduating flight school. In mid 2022, Isaac decided to transition from a career in engineering to one in aviation. He completed his instructor ratings in March 2023, and has been instructing full time ever since. His ultimate goal is to be a long haul pilot for a major airline, but he intends to remain connected to the general aviation and flight training communities for the duration of his flying career.
